Small Town Cowboy

Small Town Cowboy is a moody piece where dark, cool tones move with the touches of warmth. Unlike much of my work, which leans more into realism, this painting emerged more spontaneously and abstractly. It was created in a moment when I wasn’t sure what I wanted to paint but felt compelled to put brush to canvas. In working quickly, without allowing the pause for fine details or second-guessing, the strokes took on a boldness of their own. The result is a piece that feels dreamlike -capturing an impression rather than a polished narrative.
