In this piece, I loved accentuating the way the light alone tells the story. The sun filters through the open barn, revealed by the warmth it casts across the scene. Soften golden tones creating a sense of calm that is peaceful on the eyes. I chose to leave in the cows tongue not so gracefully up in her nose. To me this feels like the nature of farm life, imperfect and content. A quiet moment of togetherness, simply happy to eat in the sun's glow.
